Sean Dempsey has given his Laois team a chance for redemption this weekend when he sends out 13 of the side which went down so meekly to Cork last weekend. Peter O Leary is the one to miss out as U21 centre half back Ger Reddin takes the no 6 jersey following another mature performance in Tuesday’s Leinster U21 semi final demolition of Kildare. Darren Rooney switches to right half back.

Donie Brennan who was a late replacement for the injured Noel Garvan last week is the other player to lose out, with Kevin Meaney reclaiming his midfield position after a good showing last week when introduced as a substitute. Brendan Quigley takes up station on the 40.
